Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 September 2026

These terms apply when you access or use Let's Decide. By using the app or its browser participation pages, you agree to these terms.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Let's Decide account or participate through an invitation link. The service is not directed to children under 13.

A decision-support tool

Important: Let's Decide is designed to assist with difficult or shared decisions. Its results and recommendations are guides only and must not be treated as instructions or as a substitute for your own judgement or appropriate professional advice. You remain responsible for every decision you make and for checking that it is suitable, lawful and safe in your circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for loss, damage or an undesirable outcome resulting from a decision made in reliance on an app result or recommendation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or affects rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Not professional advice

Let's Decide does not provide medical, legal, financial, investment, safety or other professional advice. Seek help from an appropriately qualified professional when a decision could materially affect health, safety, legal rights, finances or another high-risk matter.

Do not use or rely on Let's Decide for an emergency or where any delay could put a person's health or safety at risk. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional instead.

Your account and use of the service

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information, respect other people, and use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not misuse invitations, attempt to access another person's account or data, interfere with the service, or upload content that infringes another person's rights.

You must not use the service for content or conduct that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, harmful or rights-infringing. We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated misuse.

Shared decisions and invitations

Only invite people you are entitled to contact. Participants choose whether to accept an invitation and remain responsible for their own input. An invitation link may allow a recipient to participate through a restricted browser guest session without creating a visible account. Keep invitation links private and do not use or forward another person's single-recipient email invitation. Results depend on the criteria, options, weightings, scores and participation supplied by users; incomplete, inaccurate or biased input can affect the result.

AI suggestions

AI-generated suggestions are optional and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review them before adding them to a decision, do not include sensitive personal information in an AI request, and do not rely on AI output without independent judgement.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Let's Decide available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended or be withdrawn. We may update these terms when the service changes; the current version and its update date will remain on this page.

Account suspension and deletion

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or secure the service. You may permanently delete your account in the app from Profile → Delete Account. See the account-deletion page for details.

Privacy and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is used and protected. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@letsdecide.co.uk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory rights or protections available under the laws of the country where you live, and you may be entitled to bring a claim in your local courts.
